Japanese Pressing. Francis Lai’s Chante is a mellow work filled with the atmosphere of French cinema and European easy listening. Known for classics such as A Man and a Woman, Lai surrounds the album with his signature romantic melodies, soft strings, and floating arrangements. Jazz, pop, and cinematic music blend together naturally, making it the perfect kind of record to sink into late at night.
