J. A. SeazerDenen ni Shisu (Original)
Details
'74 Japanese Original Pressing. J.A. Seazer’s soundtrack to Shuji Terayama’s 1974 film “Pastoral: To Die in the Country” (Den-en ni Shisu). Psychedelic rock, ritualistic chants and traditional Japanese influences collide in a surreal, theatrical atmosphere. From haunting melodies to intense choral passages, the music mirrors the film’s dreamlike exploration of childhood, memory and rural Japan. A distinctive piece of Japanese underground cinema and experimental music.
