'76 Japanese Pressing. Expansions is a landmark spiritual jazz and jazz-funk album by Lonnie Liston Smith & The Cosmic Echoes. Blending cosmic atmospheres, soulful Fender Rhodes textures, and infectious grooves, the album perfectly captures the fusion of spirituality and funk that defined Smith's signature sound. Featuring the legendary title track "Expansions," this is an essential classic for jazz-funk and rare groove collectors.
